The wine is suburb from Madrona. The cabernet franc and zinfandel were my favorites this weekend but the port is also a must buy. What makes this winery stand out is the commitment to sustainability. The wine grapes were converted organic recently, they have solar panels and recent Tesla charging stations installed. I've tried organic wines in the past and... More

Madrona Vineyards was our first tasting in this area. The vineyard itself is beautiful, and we loved being welcomed by the vineyard black cats outside. There's something so welcoming about animals! Upon walking inside, we were the first customers of the day, and were greeted immediately and felt welcome from the start. During our tasting, we had a great conversation... More

We stopped here on a recommendation on our way from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe. It's set back a little ways off the road but very accessible from 50. We got to try quite a few wines, including some special features. It was a very laid back vibe and the staff was friendly, personable and talkative. It was only moderately busy... More

Madrona Vineyards has an excellent assortment of wines. They have a wide array of red wines, with a couple of whites as well. We wholeheartedly recommend their El Tinto, a blend that changes each year but that has been excellent for at least the five years we tasted. The winery is solar powered and the Bush family is clearly dedicated... More

Our department and an offsite team building fun event where we went wine tasting here and general area. Up in the pines, grapevines and apple orchards...just nice area. Go taste the wine, enjoy the views and the area at large. If you don't drink just out the little shop n snacks and be outdoors.

A small tasting room just off US50. I never drive through without stopping. They have a large offering of excellent wines, but don't miss the Ports or the Nebbiolo. I have been stopping here a couple of times a year for about six years, it is consistently great!

The wine tasting at Madrona was my first wine tasting experience. It was cool. They have a variety of wines to choose from, two of which I could pronounce. The building kind of has a rustic feel & the atmosphere is great. Even if you're not really a wine drinker, it's still worth a quick stop if you're in the... More

We checked in here for the Eldorado Wine Passport event. The staff made it a very fun stop. The wine was incredible and the food delicious.
