This gem of a Preserve is perched high over the ocean, with breath-taking views. The paths are lovingly maintained Friends of the Preserve, and they do a fine job. Beautiful walk.

Well managed, walking friendly trails. Dogs surely loved this stroll as much as we did. We took in the panoramic views of ocean and mountains while breathing in the fresh salt air listening to the waves roll in. We took water so we could take...More

It's hard for me to power walk through FRP due to the gorgeous view of the coastline. It's a easy walk that even my friend, who has MS, could do. Thankful that this land will be preserved for future generations.

The cliff route is about a mile across and a pleasant walk. Flora is fairly limited and in summer the grass dry and brown so a bit dull looking. Not much in terms of wildlife on our visit in July - probably not a great...More

Great place to walk the dogs or kids. Beautiful area saved/preserved by the locals, so respect the neighborhood it's in.

It is public. There is parking at either end, though neither is very large. They are both through lovely residential areas. We usually park on the north end. You turn off Hwy 1 like you are going to Moonstone Beach BUT... More
