Favorite wine and winery story of the trip. The reds are great and remind us of the wines in coastal Italy

The winery grounds are beautiful and the castle amazing. Remarkable structure. That alone would have made the visit worthwhile. And we found wines we truly liked (better than 3 other wineries we tried). The wine tasting was fun and educational. We tasted 7, liked them all and found 4 we settled on for purchase.

It's easy to say that going to a replica of a medical castle in Napa is cheesy. However this is a totally fun way to spend two or three hours and taste really good fine to boot. Take the tour, it is the best way to enjoy Castello di Amorosa. We fully enjoyed it and highly recommend a visit!

The atmosphere is beautiful and the wines are good. It is kid friendly. However, we didn't have our kids with us so we wanted to spend a little adult only time with are friends from Chicago.

I went to Napa with my 18 year old daughter, and trust me, it's not easy to find too many things out there for teens to do; however, someone recommended this was a fun tour, so we gave it a go. Turns out, while it is touristy based on the notion that it's an authentically built medieval castle, it's also... More

If you come to the Napa Valley, you must go to the Castle!! The Castle makes it feel like you're in the medieval days but in fact the Castle is only 10 years old! There are wonderful farm animals (chicken, sheep, lamb, peacock?!) roaming around which kids would like if you come as a family. My friends and I went... More

The castle itself and the reproduction decor was all very nice. You quickly realize though that since it's just a reproduction there is no real history involved, and it's all just a copy. It kind of makes it just a list of where different things came from. The stones came from here, the chairs came from there...blah blah blah. What... More

Castello di Amorosa was perfect for our 1st visit to Napa. We decided on the guided $50.00 tour, definitely worth it. The guided tour takes you to areas that are restricted on self-guided tour. Gary the tour guide was fun and the private tasting room was perfect for us 1st timers..he was very detailed on wines we tasted. Loved the... More

I've been twice and never tasted. I've had a family member (couple) that did the tasting and they loved it. The first time I went it was very hot and the second time was much less busy and cooler. However, it is novel and I just didn't want to take the time to taste. I'm sure it is lovely but,... More
