Excellent wines paired with excellent views. It was very nice actually doing a tasting in the caves is a nice change instead of a tasting room. Rick was very knowledgeable and friendly. I can't wait to go back!!!!!!

We had a lovely tour of the vineyard and the property is beautiful including huge trees that really make this a unique place to walk around. The wines were very good and the person giving the tour was incredibly friendly and gave us several recommendations for places to eat and other wineries to visit.

Pam took us on a tour of this wonderful winery. She was so fascinating, I learned so much about wineries and wine making in general but more than that we could visibly see and hear what pride and heart it takes to make excellent wine year after year. (Storybook has an excellent history) It was truly enlightening and the best... More

This family owned winery is in a lovely location and our tour was packed with lots of interesting information. Their specialty is Zinfandel, so be aware that this is most of the tasting.

I stumbled upon this place on a whim. A reservation is needed. The owner is the guru of Zinfandel. He descends directly from the Grimm Brothers (fairy tale people) of Gernany. The Winery was re-named "storybook" to avoid the negative connotation of the word, Grimm. We walked in the Vineyards with Rick. He is a magical storyteller. The winery is... More

We finally got a chance to visit this winery during our snickers art trip. The place is hidden right by the Sonoma/Napa Valley county line. This winery is very small, and has a total of 10 employees: including the owner, and winemaker: Jerry. At 79 years young, Jerry still handles the day to day operations of this winery!! Pam gave... Great wine! Great personalized tour. Beautiful vineyards. Rick was great. Interesting story about the winery. Very special concept on winemaking. Not commercial. Reasonable wine tasting fee waved after purchase. A must visit. Cool caves. Away from the hub bub!

If you are someone who loves wine, but wants a snooty free approach to tasting, make sure you visit Storybook. My husband and I visit the Napa Valley once annually and this time around we were looking to visit some wineries that we'd not previously been to. I found Storybook as I was looking at some new options online and... More

This is a fantastic little estate winery that makes outstanding zinfandel. They also produce a lovely viognier that they sometimes blend with the zin for an outstanding result. We were fortunate to take the tour with the daughter of the owner who is also assistant wine maker. She gave us an excellent tour with honest opinions and unpolished answers. One... More

Such a lovely winery with only a small volume but lots of loving care from a family that has been in the business for many years and originally started by two brothers from German named Grimm. Not of book fame. So when the current owners named the winery they figured Grimm was not a good name so they focused on... More
