Pleasant Visit
Jul. 2021
We visited here with friends. Great wines with good pedigrees. We were hoping for more sparkling wines. Mike was a great host. Pleasant outdoor venue.

Wonderful Tasting
Jul. 2021
Such an enjoyable time, the grounds are beautiful. And their wines are fabulous. Highly recommend a reservation for a tasting. Staff is awesome, ask for Monty!

Great wine tasting!
Jul. 2021
We did a tasting here with John. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Sat down with 4 novices and took the time to explain everything and answer all our questions. Great wines as well, which made the experience that much better. Highly recommend doing this on the beautiful property!

BIPOC BEWARE
Jun. 2021 • Friends
Neither their website or confirmation email mention anything about pet policy, yet they didn't allow me to come in with my dog BUT proposed me to leave my dog inside my car and parked on handicap (which is illegal). No other signs in the main entrance except masks required, one which OF COURSE was not being enforced or even mentioned to guests that were checking in. Not coming back or recommending this place. BIPOC beware!!

Plenty of better options

The most disappointing tasting experience of our weekend in Napa. We had arrived early in the hope that we may get seated a little earlier but once we had checked in no one spoke to us until 10 minutes after our reservation time.

Eventually we were seated in a tented area and not on the patio of the tasting room. We waited 30 minutes for our first tasting of wine and it was clear that this experience was going to be slow. A server was very friendly but we mentioned to him that we needed to speed the process up and he obliged by bringing us two Wines at a time.

The wine was very good but the experience and the ambience of the Tent we’re not good at all and the staff largely ignored us. We had a much better experience at other tastings during that weekend.

Great Wines, Overpriced Tastings
May 2021 • Friends
Been visiting Frank Family Vineyards for years. They do make some very good wines and their employees know their products.

Their tasting fees have, however, gotten out of control. What makes the situation especially unpleasant is that Frank Family doesn’t offer any fee waivers—either through a minimum purchase or by joining their club shipment program.

What a shame, I really liked this place.

Love Frank Family!
May 2021 • Couples
My husband and I are big fans of frank family wines and were so excited to be able to visit. We did the wines of Winston tasting ($70pp) and it was great! Each wine was delicious and our guide, a young man from the area, was funny and very informative. We very much enjoyed our visit!

Do not waste your time or money

Tasting fee is $50.00 per person which got us an uninterested and unengaged person leading our tasting which is a shame since some of the wine was good and the grounds are lovely. Also none of the tastings fees waived (not even one) despite purchasing almost $200 in wine. We are a members at a number of wineries in Napa and Sonoma County and there are a number of wineries with the same tasting fee who provide the type of experience you would expect for a $50 tasting fee. No reason for us to return or recommend to others.

Wonderful experience!
Sep. 2020 • Couples
We had a wonderful experience at Frank Family Vineyards and it was made possible by both the amazing wines and exceptional service by Antonio! He was so personable and informative! We thoroughly loved our time there! The 2018 Lewis Vineyard Chardonnay, the 2017 RHF Cabernet Sauvignon and the Winston Cab were our favorites!
Thank you, Antonio for a such an enjoyable time and we 🙏🏻 you, your family and of course everyone at Frank Family Vineyards and Napa Valley are safe!! ❤️

ELEVATED EXPERIENCE Tasting worth every dime
Mar. 2020
Do yourself a favor and do the ELEVATED EXPERIENCE tasting served with nibbles to clear the palate . Reserve wines only sold at the Vineyards are served. We love their regular wines but the reserve wines are out of this world. It was a really special experience, and wines I am not ordinarily a fan of like Chardonnay was so silky I bought two. We got one of all the other wines and are considering joining their club- the wine is that good. Do your mouth a favor.

The grounds are very nice, very interesting history and the winery used to be the Hans Cornell Champagne. Very nice old homestead. We went on a Tuesday early morning and it was a very private and intimate tasting.
