The house wines are enjoyable (recommend the Rooster), but the highlight was the tour of the house wine cave and a barrel tasting.

This wine tasting was exactly what I expected out of Napa Valley! Excellence and class in a rustic environment! The Wine Cave was incredible!! You go back in a second!!!

Went out of our way to find this place because it was in our "Calistoga Passport". Very glad we didn't pay the $25 tasting fee - better wines available at Trader Joes for a quarter of the price.

Dutch Henry was our last stop on our Napa Platypus tour, and was a bit of a disappointment. The tasting room staff was friendly and helpful, but I didn't enjoy their wines much. Different tastes/style than others we visited. Their cave was cool to explore, and the plentiful olive trees and campground behind the winery were interesting.

The wines here were fantastic, especially if you love reds. The entire tasting was reds. There was no formal tasting room at this time as I believe they were renovating, but we got to walk around the grounds during our tasting which was beautiful. No formal tour was offered to us, but they allowed us to explore around and there... More

Ex tempore visit to this small winery. We were attracted by small roadsign telling about olive oil tasting but ended up to tasting beautiful wines too! Very welcoming place and nice individual wines.

We visited Dutch Henry as part of our Platypus Wine Tour (which was wonderful). This is a small production family-owned winery. We love these kinds of businesses as they are an opportunity to really interact with those in the winemaking process. They took us into the cave, which was beautiful and had a great little dining area. We barrel tasted... More

We visited this winery as 1 of 4 wineries during the Wine Country Tour. It was small and quaint, yet there was nothing overly impressive or memorable about this winery. The scenery was not impressive (like some others) and I felt the location was somewhat diminished by the presence of a rather large chicken coup. Not sure why it was... More

The best part of this winery, hands down, was the setting. As part of a day-long tour group visiting this winery as the third stop of the day, we found the grounds unique when compared to the others we had seen. We were able to walk through the wine cave which includes a beautiful room at the end, and to... More
