The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors.

My wife and I both had massages and mud bath treatment. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but the facility is very dated. It doesn't appear the interior of the spa has been updated since the 1980's. It is a little noisy for a spa....More

We enjoyed two massages here and luxuriated in the mineral hot springs and pools. Had the swimming pool mostly to ourselves which was quite nice mid week. It is not fancy or super modern but I found the services quite acceptable and friendly.

This renovated classic spa has comfortable, mondern rooms, great outdoor lounging and picnic space and a beautiful choice of mineral pools. The massages were terrific and the service staff universally helpful!

This is a great place to stay--family friendly with good services for spa treatments. You will find the cares of the world melting away in the sun, laughter, and soothing waters.

One of our best trips! This hotel is a wonderful place to stay! One block off the main street of Calistoga so we walked most of the time to coffee, the bike shop, the deli for lunch and 3 different restaurants for dinner. The hotel...More

My daughter really wanted a mud bath while in Calistoga, and I really wanted some time in a hot mineral spring pool. We found that balance at Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, which allowed her to have a plus-one for the pool with the purchase of...More

Calistoga Spa does not have bicycles but a short 5 minute walk will get you to a bike rental store in town.
