About
Woolshed Brewery is located in the 100 year old woolshed of Wilkadene Station set on the banks of the stunning Murray River. We offer our range of award winning ales, cider and our infamous Hard Lemonade & Rude Ruby. We also stock a range of premium Riverland wines. For non-drinkers why not have a freshly brewed local Arossto coffee. We also have a range of soft drinks available. Being a 100 year old woolshed we do not have any kitchen facilities in place to offer cooked meals. We do however sell delicious local produce from our self serve area where you can create your own platter. We also encourage our guests to bring out their own picnics or make use of our free bbq facilities. Each weekend we will get in local food trucks to provide meals. Keep an eye out on our socials for updates. Woolshed brewery is open 7 days a week from 11am-5pm. We only close Christmas Day, Boxing day, New years day and good Friday.

We had 4 nights on the Amazon Star houseboat and it was fantastic, Tom and Sarah and the whole team were amazing from cleaning the boat and lessons on how to drive the boat.

There were 3 couples on a 3 bedroom boat and we had plenty of room.

Can not recommend this holiday enough 11pm to of 10

This is one of those unique Aussie icons that warrants a visit at least once.
The faint shearing shed smell enveloped me as I soon as I walked in and I thought 😌 “I am home” (I grew up on a sheep farm).
It was outstanding service with a smile at the bar 10minutes before closing (😬 sorry fellas I didn’t come earlier).
I soaked up the incredible water views while trying the pink lemonade they brew on-site accompanied by cheese and biscuits they sell. Local producers are sourced and there is an array to choose from.
After getting a quick fascinating, impromptu history lesson from the smiling barman, I was then encouraged to walk around the site and visit the original homestead. Would love to return to see this once restoration is complete.
One could easily spend a half day here. I’m told they have food vans on some nights, the have held barn dances (and other dances) at the venue. There was an art display in the shearing pen area and worth a look too.
Thanks guys for a memorable stop in!

Established in an 1880s woolshed with lots of character, Woolshed Brewing sits on the bank of the River Murray, so close you can moor your boat and hop off into the bar. Inside with its slatted floors it looks like an old woolshed while outside the large deck overlooks the river. At the bar six taps pour their own beers while there are two non-beer alcoholic drinks available also. The venue and setting is worth visiting as to me this is the quintessential Aussie pub - set on the river with pelicans and views of the bush with noisy corellas. If you are with 'cooee' then a visit is a must!

We visited for beer, got a flight of dark beers and a couple of alcoholic lemonades. It was very chilly, very busy, and there were limited food options. You had to pick your own food for a platter from a fridge and put it together yourself. Size of the tasting glasses a bit big which didn’t encourage us to stay around for seconds. But the beers were good and a great rustic atmosphere.

What a wonderful place to spend on a sunny arvo. Right on the river this old woolshed still has its original features. Extensive selection of beers and alcoholic soft drinks and a pick your own cheese platter. We took our own nibbles which is fine too. This place is so chilled out and relaxed we only left because we had to get back to Renmark.

Visited a couple of times while staying locally. What a great place to just sit back with a beer and watch the river. The beers were great too (took home a carton of the Amazon Ale, but loved the dark on tap).

We recently came to Wilkadene Woodshed brewery for a wedding. The laid back, relaxed venue is a result of a transformed woodshed turned brewery. Have to commend the freshly brewed beers and cider that they have produced, all tasted amazing. The workers/owners were very polite and bent over backwards to make sure the whole day was a success. the backdrop setting of an overflow from the Murray was magical & the gardens were kept immaculate.

Overall, do yourself a favour and make this place the next stop when your in the Riverland!

Great layout worked really well and plenty of room. Especially love that every one of the three bedrooms had their own ensuite. The stunning cliffs above Renmark were beautiful. Tom and the crew could not do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. Totally recommend Above Renmark Houseboats to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday and the weather is always warmer on the river. We will be back thanks guys.

We stopped in on a sunday. I enjoyed the 'hard' lemonade. Very refreshing. Sat on deck overlooking river and shared a platter you create by purchasing products. Shame the foods so limited but nice spot for a drink
