Good hike, but can be tough for some. Make sure to leave yourself plenty of time if you do the long hike...remember it gets dark in the woods faster than in the open city! Be sure to take lots of water and stay hydrated, especially...More

This is a good place to enjoy the redwoods. If you buy property in the local area, it's a nasty winter. (trees fly, branches fall, flooding, roads fall out, landslides and severe mud-sliding.

The Berry Creek Falls Trail was an amazing hike linked with the Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail. I suggest starting the hike from the Ranger Station and heading left, when you get to the trail head - that way you hike up the big waterfalls, instead of down...More

Great hike, long day. Beautiful waterfalls from all the rain. Saw lots of newts and banana slugs. Don't touch either. I think the 10 miles makes it strenuous. My legs were in spasms at the end.
