We enjoyed visiting this beach as it is somewhat secluded. Having said that, there is not a lot of parking spots and the toilets are way out in the small parking lot so it can be a trek coming from the beach. Plan accordingly before...More

It's always great to see nature up close, but not always. A great Blue whale, about 80 feet long, recently was washed ashore near agate cove. In Bolinas.locals here don't usually see such things, so it was a curiosity and News to local TV stations....More

Famously, there are no signs on Hwy 1 showing you the way to Bolinas (it is the first left north of Stinson Beach off Hwy 1 just after the lagoon) and the locals are very touchy about the scarce parking. But after you navigate all...More

Gorgeous sandy beach with rocks and shells to collect. Larger at low tide. Signs saying "Groin" say "Naked Surfers" on the other side:)

Nice local beach where the community hangs out. It's opposite Stinson beach and Bolinas although the out of the way is easy enough to get to! Worth checking out. I found it very similar to an English beach rather than an Californian one which was...More

One of our go to beaches when it is 100 degrees inland is go to Bolinas. It has a beautiful beach and lots of birds to watch. It is also where Duxbury tide pools are. A fun place to explore.

This beach is so remote it's not even signposted, but we'll worth a visit. Bolinas itself is a laid back hippie chic type of town where everyone is friendly.

Bolinas isn't only a hop up the road from Stinson Beach so venture over to a small California beach town that's a bit off of the beaten path. Has an old time Americana feel and slow pace to things. This is Nature country to enjoy...More

So basically the people that found this place 5 minutes before you feel that they are the only ones with the right to be there. Rude locals, dirty beach, lame food, I'm going to agree with the locals on this one, you are better off...More

Quiet, locals beach in Bolinas. When the tide is out you can walk clear around the town via the beach. Dogs play on the beach and it is full of sea birds searching for crabs. I loved this little beach!
