The Bodega Head Ride is a very low traffic road with large bicycle lanes in both directions. It is a 4 mile one way ride along the bay the entire time ending at the beautiful Bodega Head State Park. There are three other parks, a restaurant and UC Davis's Bodega Marine Laboratory to visit along the way. This is a perfect ride for every weather condition also. A great and affordable way to experience Bodega Bay. There is a full service Bicycle Shop with rentals at the beginning of the ride. Have Fun!

Bicycle ride to the end of Eastshore Rd and you will see the most amazing views. There were not a lot of people around when we were there and that is the advantage of going in March.

A must see! Went to check out the marinas and kept going to the Heads. Pacific ocean, crashing waves, birds, deer.... perfect.

Such a wonderful road with views for photos and take your binoculars. Make sure you take the trail to Bodega Rock to see the seals and hear them barking. Such a thrill for us animal and nature lovers. Without the binoculars all we could have done is heard them and would have been disappointed. Also our first trip we got... More

This is one of the most beautiful areas. I always take my camera. It is so relaxing. I always go during the week as the week-end is very congested. As I am retired, I feel it is best to let the week-enders have their space from their long week of labor.

Such a beautiful area - natural beauty. We went expecting to see seals, which we did, but we were lucky and also saw whales - no boat required. We didn't realize that it was migration time so this was an unexpected blessing. We spent hours watching for (successfully) spoutings and tail fins with the naked eye. Would have been even... More

Many trips to northern Calif. in the past but the first to Bodega Bay. Why have we not visited before now?! Stopped many times in route to enjoy the views. Walked the dock and chatted with the fishermen. Were treated to sea lions swimming in the bay and hearing their "bark" echo off the shoreline. Fog horn in the distance... More

It was raining on the day we took our drive. It was still gorgeous-beautiful vistas-some nice hiking. Heard it is a great place to see whales. Spud Point Crab Company is in this area.
