About
Beenleigh is Australia's original rum. Created before any other rum in the country. And over 130 years later, we're still making rum the traditional, "boutique" way. Still operating from our original stone building upon the banks of the Albert River at Eagleby. Still exclusively sourcing Australia's finest molasses from the country's only remaining family-owned sugar mill. And still pot stilling using our original copper equipment. We then age every drop of our golden liquid gracefully in handmade oak brandy barrels to create Beenleigh's distinctive, luscious flavour and its velvety smooth finish. Making it perfect for sipping neat or over ice. Like only a truly great rum can be. Visit Australia's oldest registered and continuously working distillery. I had the pleasure of shopping online as I don't live close enough to attend in person (yet) and I ended up splurging on the 5 year old single malt whiskey as a surprise present for my husbands 40th Birthday. I know this time of year is hectic for everyone (businesses and Australia Post) and I was concerned about my parcel not arriving in time. I didn't want to be a bother but decided to bite the bullet and ring Beenleigh Artisan Distillery and ask for a massive favour in sending it via express post, in which I expected to be told no. To my surprise and absolute delight, Logan who answered my call was extremely helpful, polite, and very understanding and agreed to send it via express post. This involved going out back and locating my already packaged parcel through hundreds of orders and taking it to the post office personally, as my request was out of the norm. She then text me directly with a tracking number so I could follow its steps. Logan honestly went above and beyond and I couldn't be more appreciative. She saved the day! I will definitely be making future purchases from Beenleigh Artisan Distillery as I know the customer service is 110%. Thanks again Logan. Rachael.

We did the tour and master-class as a fathers day gift. We had a great time learning the distillerys history, how the rum us made and tasted the different rum options. We then got to mix our own small bottle to get take home, great time with my husband and father inlaw. Sharon was our guide. Would recommend to lovers of rum, even myself who usually prefers mixers found some I could enjoy without a mixer.

We had the most fantastic afternoon at the Beenleigh Artisan Distillery. Not only can you take part in an informative tour, but you can also do tastings of their rum, gin, and tequila. And, if you are in the mood for a specialty cocktail or craft beer, you are also in luck.
The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming; special shout out to Sharon who is a delight!

If you are a rum drinker, the tour is a must. It covers how the rum is made, stored & the history. The tasting was interesting without pressure to buy. We found the ones we liked & others that were for next time. The staff are knowledgeable & friendly.

A lovely small distillery. Myself and my wife did a tour and tasting with Sharyn, who was lovely and helpful. Turned out it was just the two of us, so was just like a personal tour. After the tour we tasted 6 different rum expressions plus she also gave us a taste of their whisky (because I mentioned I was a whisky drinker), despite it not being on the tasting list. Please support this Aussie distillery!

It was our first visit to Beenleigh distillery. Had a great time. It was great to see the oldest operating distillery in Australia and try some rare rums. Would recommend. The tour guide was great.
