Very disappointing. Apart from lovely tasting apples the place is a shambles and completely overpriced. Nothing ran on schedule, go carts broken, it’s all about the financial gain with add ons everywhere, not one of the staff wanted to be there & made it quite...More
Have already recommended this to friends. We had a great day out Pumpkin picking. Very reasonable entry, €19 for 2 adults and 2kids. We would brought out to the Pumpkin Field on a Tractor and Trailer, then took a walk through a really well done...More
Get the kids off the i-phones , the tablets , forget about Fortnight and haul them off to the Applecross farm in Bridgetown. Fresh air , nice easy country walks amidst the pumpkin patches and apple orchards. Lots to see around the farm buildings ......More
Lovely place to visit. Well worth a look. My 3 year old really enjoyed it. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s not really set up for prams. Also it wasn’t very clear about what was where. There were...More
Getting ready for Halloween? This is the place to go, and do bring your children. The pet farm is great, they can feed the goats, pet the horses, stuff themselves with popcorn and hot dogs, and have a wonderful time choosing their favorite pumpkin.

We have visited Ballycross twice. Once at Halloween and again in June. Much more going on at Halloween, however my little fella loved it both times. There’s a bouncy castle, peddle carts and animal feeding. The Ballycross Special Waffles are to die for!!
Cant believe the good reviews on here for this place. Maybe for families with children who are shut away and have never seen the countryside or animals this would be a good choice. Everything is overpriced, the cafe is so cold in the autumn/winter and...More
I visited Ballycross with my 3 year old. It was a Saturday afternoon and we arrived at 2pm. The charge in was €4 for me and €3 for my son. While paying the lady told us that we could help feed the chickens and lambs...More
