The best time to visit the village in Big Bear is winter when the lights are on the trees for holiday time and the covered horse drawn carriages are in motion!

great fudge shop with ice cream. The town was a little sleepy but this street was alive and well. Check the city website -- we found $5 Movie Tuesday and there are several great restaurants within walking distance

Very nicely kept street, lots to eat and good window shopping. Enjoyed the Himalayan Restaurant a lot. Would be happy to return to this area.

This is a really cute little area but most of it was closed during the week. Most were open on Friday and Saturday. Nice places to eat and souvenir shop.
