Nice and fun stop off.

This is one of those slightly crazy Route 66 stop off points. Great fun and worth a ten minute stop if for nothing more than a quick photo. Only in Texas!!

A nice little car show which is colourful and free and every bit as iconic and cool and a must see as the Cadillac Ranch. Not sure if it's a riposte or a homage...but it really doesn't matter! Here there's a ghost motel to see too. Very picturesque...definitely worth a look.

Driving along Hwy 40 this jumped out at us and we had to stop and take a picture. Owning a Bug myself it was pretty funny to see.

Me and a friend passed by the slug bug ranch while in Texas as it wasn't far from the cadillac ranch. I'm not sure if it's by the same people but it's a little stop off along the way and a photo opportunity and also free

This was a fun, quick stop for us. My daughter drives a Beetle, so we enjoyed seeing this "cousin" of the Cadillac Ranch. My son also found a geocache at this spot.

Located right by the highway / Route 66 it is very convenient to stop at the slug bug ranch to take some pictures. Too bad nobody cleans up the area, there are empty paint cans and other trash all over the place. Of course there are not trash cans available either. It had rained before but there was enough grassy... More

I was so excited to see the Slug Bug Ranch after seeing Cadillac Ranch and found it a bit of let down. It is clearly abandoned and the weeds have grown up. If you are a photographer you could probably get some interesting shots but if it's not on your travel route I don't feel like you would miss much... More

I recently visited this place and it's amazing art! It's sort of like the caddaliac ranch. It's a neat place for pictures and it doesn't cost anything to stop. Unless you decide to bring a can of spray paint. Personally I loved it and my photos turned out great!
