Bizarre natural history store that sells such odd items as fossils, dried reptiles and mounted scorpions.

Bought bones from here before for search and rescue training for my dog but now they are only online. Great service. I had a little trouble getting a hold of them but I didn't know they had closed their building.

A one-of a kind business. The Bone Room was the place for things that were dead, mostly as endo-skeletons and exo-skeletons. Butterflies, birds, cockroaches, reptiles, amphibians, fish, parasites and mammals. Great for medical studies. Now it is gone.

This is a wonderful world of natural things- not just bones! They used to have a large snake in the back. Not sure it's still there.

The Bone Room will close its doors in May, 2016. It will continue as an online business but will no longer have a bricks-and-mortar store.

Love love LOVE this place, I could spend all day here if you let me. Glad it will still be online but there's nothing like going through everything and touching it all.

I loved this store! Very cool stuff, very interesting offerings. I bought my daughter a cool keychain with a bug in lucite. I considered purchasing one of the framed skulls, but will go back another time. Well worth a visit!

I stopped by and was automatically in love with all of the objects in the Bone Room. The lady up front was really helpful when I had questions. I ended up buying a taxidermy baby chick. You know, Easter is coming up. This is definitely...More

It was my wife who took me into the Bone Room, saying she wishes she had known about it as a child. There are two stores next to each other, the first packed with taxidermy (lambs, birds, mouse deer, everything), fossils, bones, skeletons, and oddities because.,...More

I come here every time I visit the bay area. Tons of neat stuff for the nature buff, artist, or teacher. My girls love to come and get feathers and funky jewelry, I love the presentations and lectures, and I always seem to bring a...More
