Those of us living in the San Francisco Bay Area, especially the in east bay are lucky to have TIlden Regional Park along with many other parks making up the East Bay Regional Park system. Tilden is 2000+ acres of nature with many walking, hiking, and biking trails. Some trails connect with Wildcat Canyon and Sibley Volcanic Regional Parks as... More

Over the years, we've gone here many times, and we always go to a new section. This time we went on a Thursday a.m. hike which bicyclists use, too. We chose that one to avoid the mud on some of the other trails. As others report in their reviews, there's much to see and do here. And there's plenty to... More

There is a micro climate there. So much to see! There is a rose garden, a steam train, many hiking trails, a lake, animal farm, even the ride is amazing with it's spectacular views.

We are so lucky to have Tilden park so close to home. When our daughter was young we went there every Sunday . At that time there was a pony ride/ horse ride. The Little Farm is wonderful! I think you can just bring lettuce to feed some animals. There is an educational center with exhibits for young children as... More

Great vistas, trails, roads and open areas that can be enjoyed, driving, walking, riding bikes, running, golfing, etc. So close to the city and gives so much access and viewing of nature. Lovely place to ride bikes especially on week days when the auto traffic is lower. Close to the Bay/Berkeley and East Bay cities. Well worth the trip.

My family has spent many occasions here. Weddings, picnics, etc. Very lovely, quiet, water, and food near by if needed.

What a beautiful park. There is lots of room to roam and hike. There were bikes and hikers all over. The view was amazing. Nothing like it. Dress warm if its cool out and bring good hiking shoes.

A frequent choice for a walk with the dogs. A beautiful park with well maintained trails and amazing bay views.

Part of a large regional park system in the hills above Berkeley and Oakland. Some nice trails to hike, Abounds with wild turkeys, deer and coyotes.

Lots of scenery, wildlife, wild flowers. Easy to spend a day just looking at the various areas in the park.
