I used to ride my bike or walk this trail regularly. It was a pleasant place to get a little exercise. If you are looking for an attraction, this isn't the place. But, if you happen to be in the Benicia area and want to enjoy a little nature and walk by the water, this is the place.

3 separate parking areas - northeast, just off Miitary, northwest just off Columbus/Rose, and south, from Rose down Dillon Point. The bathrooms at Dillon Point were out of service in August, but available up at the north parking areas. With a strong prevailing west wind through Carquinez Strait, this north-extending bay provides protected water for modest kayak and SUP excursions.... More

This is a nice place to walk along the wetlands. Nice views as one walks on the paths. A good place to ride bikes also. At the end of the road are places for picnics etc.

Don't waste your time going here unless you like to fish. There's no place to sit, no beach and you pay $6 for nothing.

This small recreation area provides a wonderful sense of peace as you walk the easy trail past marsh land filled with many species of birds. At the end of the first trail lies another that travels 4 miles along the water to a point great for fishing and/or watching huge tankers come and go from the Bay to the Delta.... More

Nature at it's best, beautifully maintained State Park with amazing views of the mountains and water. Walk, hike or just sit and relax, read a book, look at the scenery and boats or have a picnic.

In the State Park bueaty abounds and changes with seasons and lightness of the day. Walking alone or in groups, one can appreciate the sounds, smell, and visuals of the outdoors. The straits provide a plurthia of water fowl and sites of rippling water ways for travelers. A gindegnious garden is planted for all to experience free of charge. Picnic... More

This is a great place for a walk or to take a jogging stroller. Several pot holes but most repaired recently. Beautiful plants, some wild life. There is a good fishing area at the end and plenty of picnic tables. Wish there was a playground or bathrooms at the entrance. Scenery is beautiful and a relaxing atmosphere. Parking is about...
