If you are staying close by this is a great afternoon treat. They specialise in high altitude wines and the flavours are noticeably different to others parts of SA. The décor is modern and clean and it would be easy to spend hours here.

This is truly a hidden gem, if I ever saw one. Not only do they make some of South Africa's best wines, but they also brew amazing beers. This has become one of my husbands favorite's. The 48km gravel road can be a bit daunting,...More

This winery is unique is so many ways. Green vineyards lie surreal against the stark back drop of the rocky Cederberg landscape. The tasting room is beautiful and the host provides amazing insights into the wines, their origins and the surprise of a connection to...More

The harder it is to get something the more likely you are to like it. Well Cederberg Cellar is 2 hours of bad dirt road from anywhere and 2 hours back to pavement. It is pretty, but it is a rough drive. We were really...More

Loved visiting this wine farm- they're wines are of a very good quality. It was a beautiful drive to get there and part of the adventure. Aubrey was a great source of information on the area and the wines. We'll be back!

Wine tastings are offered at two time slots a day (they close for lunch). The wine was very good and consultant was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different wines. Unfortunately many of the wines I liked were either sold out or currently being bottled....More
