Beautiful hike. Took us 4 hours with a half hour lunch. Lots of climbing and wonderful vistas even without the fall colours. Highly recommend.

One of the best trails in the park. This is quite a long loop trail- perhaps 5-6 hours depending on your fitness. Many tree roots and rocks are constant obstacles. The trail runs up and down the ridges which provide exquisite views from the tops....More

My husband and I decided to take on this trail for a day. We knew it was 6 hours, so we packed a lunch and lots of water. Absolutely beautiful views (probably some of the best the park has to offer). We stopped for lunch...More

Took us 4 hours and 45 min. Cliff views are beautiful. Muddy parts have lots of bugs, be prepared with proper clothing and bug spray. Cliff areas good for breaks, windy and cool and no bugs. Easy to go off course between 3-4 km markings,...More

This is one of the best trails in Algonquin for breathtaking scenery. The Booth’s Rock trail has a nice lookout but for the sheer number of gorgeous lookouts Centennial Ridges Trail is the best for photography. To hike the entire loop is 10k and it’s...More

Over the years we have hiked most of the trails along the highway 60 corridor in Algonquin Park. Centennial Ridges is one of the more scenic trails we have done in Algonquin and probably my new favourite. The terrain is varied, the view from the...More

Excellent hiking experience, especially in the early fall, the trail is located closer to the East gate of the Algonquin park. At the visitor's Center you need to buy a parking permit, the free park map will show you how to get to the start...More

This trail is far enough from the main highway that for the most part you don't get to hear the cars. The official time to walk it is 6hrs, but it can be easily done in 4 w/o rushing and enjoying your surroundings. It's a...More
