We had a very tasty lunch in the cafe - their smoked trout is delicious and a change from salmon more commonly offered. The beetroot pate with salad and bread was also delicious. There are some interesting craft shops to explore and a great walk...More

Cafe visit for brunch, but despite being the only people in the cafe at time of ordering we did wait quite a while. Fair value for money on roll & tasty butchers sausages at £3.50. A bit of price hike to £5.00 for bacon and...More

We checked reviews beforehand and the cafe was supposed to be dog friendly. Unfortunately it was only dog friendly outside in the courtyard and it was raining! This restricted us somewhat. We were hoping to find some dog walks also but these all seemed to...More

After a walk round the ground and a visit to the play park. A visit to the local cafe for lunch. The cafe has outdoor as well as indoor seating. We opted for indoor seat mainly due to the wasps which are prevalent at this...More

Relaxing, and interesting. The cafe is superb. The most tastiest sandwich ever. Well worth the cost. Do try.

We had an excellent coffee and a DELICIOUS fresh home made scone here to set us up for walking part of St Cuthbert's way. The service was rally good to. There are lots of shorter walks you can do from the centre.
