Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Even if you are not religious it is definitely worth the visit .Monkeys roam free and prayers are observed the whole day.Best time is early morning as could get very hot and stuffy in the cave

The cave villa and its grounds were pretty but we couldn't get past what some of the reviews had said... pertaining to animal cruelty... so we didn't go in...

I was absolutely sick when i realised that i paid 15Myr to support the most disgusting animal cruelty...

I thought I was paying to see a special part of the cave, but instead I walked to the depths of the cave to find a zoo which had reptiles, turtles, and other mammals, in the smartest filthiest cages, that have never seen a ray of the sun. I was sick. The reptiles looked sick and the raccoon was pacing with so much distress.

I engaged in a conversation with the keeper, who admitted to me that the owner of the zoo buys and trades exotic animals. He showed me photos of all types of animals, and reptiles, including Lynxes, Serval and Cheetah cubs. This guy is clearly buying from, or part of, the illegal wildlife trade!!!

When I questioned the keeper as to how the man got the animals and why he had photos with himself and endangered animals at his home, and that it was illegal, he got very nervous and harshly asked me to leave. I am trying to find out how to report this place to authorities.

Please please please don't go!!!

I would advise everybody not to fund this place. Firstly all the birds are in very small, hot cages and some look close to dying! Then it gets worse, in the reptile cave there are turtles in tiny small bowls which are being used as money fountains!? The whole bowl and the back of the turtle covered in money. DO NOT GO HERE. Disgraceful

I recall my grandpa telling me about this temple 8 yrs ago. At that time i did not know about its powers but recently after visiting it i feel more safer. The temple is serene. holy place. i feel better after applying holy ash.

As others have said it is 15RM and everything is about tourism and a little tacky. If you don’t go in you can get some great photos from outside the grounds.

There is RM15 admission fee to visit Cave Villa. Attraction points including bird park, snake, art work & lake. Overall is interesting but maintenance works can be improved

The statues etc were okay and there’s a very short dance show every hour. However the reptile house is appalling. Filthy conditions and live chicks in with the snakes just waiting to be eaten. We didn’t go to the bird part as that looked bad too. Don’t give this place the benefit of the entry fee of 15 ringitt. Ramayana Cave was much better.
