Basic review: For a one off visit it's too expensive, it's not in a convenient location, it'll cost you a good bit in fuel alone to get there and it only takes an hour (if even) to walk around. Entry is £9.50adult £8child or various family tickets, (we got 2adult2kids £30 which is fine if you're getting 3hrs entertainment for... More

Didn't honestly see a great difference from original after all the money that had been spent here. Was told to allow two hours for the visit but with an eight year old we were out in less than an hour! Otters, main attraction at present, were rnesting so not in evidence. Do not think it was worth the £24.50 entrance... More

A Sunday morning visit with 4 year old and 1 year old! Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. Volunteers are enthusiastic and passionate about exploris and took their time to educate the children on various species sea life! The children loved it! Had lunch in the cafe. Again staff very friendly and helpful.... More

We haven't been to Exploris for a while, as our boys are older now, but we thought we would check it out over half term. It was £30 for a family of 4, and that was counting our 16 year old as a child, which was nice for us! The facilities are still the same size, but they have made... More

The Boss and me packed three under 8s into the car and off we went via Newtownards passing Stormont and Scrabo Tower points of interest even for under 8s along Strangford Lough to... More

Had a very enjoyable day at Exploris. We got to watch a male seahorse give birth, pointed out by one of the team. Great viewing areas to watch the seals both in hospital part and also outside. Very informative throughout the exhibition and I also enjoyed reading where the seals were previously found in Northern Ireland.

Ok so we came here as a family of 5 2 children aged 5 and a nearly 2 year old. Along with my husband and myself. Don't get me wrong the kids had a great time but it's only been a few years since I was last here and I don't see what's different. One thing I would definitely say... More

Excellent update to a family favourite. It was Halloween when we went and there were lots of seasonal extras like dress up, treasure trails and sweeties. Great day out.

A great day out all be it cool, but it is February so didn't expect heatwave in NI. Fantastic walk made extra special by the very, very informative volunteers, willing to assist when need be BUT not overpowering. Everything for Grandparents to grandchildren catered for.
