It was burnt down and a lot rebuilt in the 1920's but they did it well. The castle is pretty empty in side the rooms, but there are lot of towers, and ramparts, and things to wonder around so still plenty to do. Good views...More

Depends on your interests, but I like castles so had a great time wandering around! Easy to go up different towers and see the view from the top. You can see far into the distance. Really a great little town. After the Castle, we went...More

Beautiful friendly place and you can walk around lovely buildings, and church well worth the visit! Many bars and small shops offering typical, products as well as local souvenirs and you also have a tourist information office.

I only had a few minutes to visit this castle but really enjoyed it. All rooms are not furnished but the walls and overall castle is well preserved. The view from the tower is amazing. Entrance was very cheap

Give yourself plenty of time to explore this amazing castle. There are so many halls, passages, chambers and ramparts it's easy to lose your way and miss parts of this wonderful castle. You can climb to the top of the highest tower and the views...More

Restored and very well taken care, it is a visit that especially with children is recommended because it is easy to play with the imagination about princesses and princes. There is a guided visited too for adults but the leaflet given with the ticket gives...More

Probably not a good idea to visit if you don't like climbing spiral staircases. Painstakingly rebuilt from ruins, and beautifully done. Stunning views and a good way to spend an hour of your time.
