We were recommended to visit Garachico by local residents and traveled by public transport from Puerto de la Cruz. It was a 40minute journey through local towns and villages and along the coast to Garachico. It is a great way to see the local area...More

We sated at the Quanta Roja hotel on the square, and loved the ambience of the place. The cafe in the square is relaxed and helpful. Perfect for sitting or strolling.

We visited Garachico for about 1.5 hours on a day coach trip of some of Northern Tenerife. It is a very pretty little town, exemplified by this town square, surrounded by historic buildings and with plenty of shade, seats and a café.

A beautiful square with lovely architecture. I would have taken a photo but the “Little Train” was parked in the square and spoilt the view.

Coming from the sea front up a little side street with a collection of painted houses on each side you find yourself in the village square which is the centre of Garachico. There was a horse and cart which would take you on a ride...More

Visited Plaza de La Libertad, basically old town, which was great. Also ran into local fruit market - got papaya, grapes and clementines, what were really tasty.

The venue is located in the very center of Garachico, actually it is the centre. Parking is not really possible. The square is a little bit like the prototype of the Spanish Plaza, surrounded by a small church, typical buildings and trees. Even a horse...More
