There are 365 steps, but they really aren't as bad as you think! Great views from the top, chapel is nothing much, but the outside looks good. If it's hot take some water.

well worth the climb, especially if you go to the vantage point to the right of the chapel at the top. On a hot summer's day: only if you are in good cardiovascular health and take your time. On a cool or cold day: perfect...More

Going up and down the stairs (I counted 411!) is a good exercise in October, but I would not recommend doing it in the middle of summer, unless you are in pretty good shape and take it slow. Great pictures to be taken there. If...More

Decide on your leading foot and stick with it. Seating and a great viewpoint when you make it to the top. Plenty of places to rest when at the bottom again and enjoy a Cerveza or three.

The 365 steps to Calvari is worth trying. The view from up there is just magnificent plus the Calvari is a beautiful place

There are 365 steps here leading to a chapel at the top. At Easter there is a re-enactment of the crucifixion where a volunteer takes the role of Christ. Although the stairs are steep there are many resting places and many tourist of a Christian...More

I have stayed in Pollenca for the past 6 years during September and October, and lived by these steps. It’s a tough challenge if you’re not at least a little fit, but an amazing result to walk to the top and take in the views...More

It’s a nice walk. And it’s good exercise. There are some interesting shops near the bottom. Some attractive properties adjacent and a pleasant view from the top, plus a church to admire. Pollença is a lovely town to wander day, evening or night.

I think you already know the answer now. A prank would make it very hard work. But as you already appreciate you can drive up and still enjoy the view from the top. Hope you enjoy your stay.
