The trail is a nice 45-minute climb from Pollenca to the monastery at the top. Park in one of the lots in Pollenca, across the main road from the trailhead. Enjoy the walk, the interesting monastery, and the fantastic views.

Very cute. Shops are really pretty. They sell good quality products for good prices not just cheap looking souvenirs.

Steady but steep walk up a twisting road. Suggest early morning when cooler if tackling in the summer. Well worth the fantastic views from the top. Free entrance-small café/restaurant for a well earned coffee/cake etc. Small museum. Worth a visit for views & the exercise!

Don't be put off as you look up at the Puig de Pollensa its worth the walk. The views from up here are great and you can see the whole pollensa area. So get those walking boots on and start stomping, its worth it.

5km round trip from the center of Pollenca, with a couple Strava segments to test yourself against (pretty steep!). Amazing views from the top, drinks available when the refuge is open.

We ade our way up just after 9am and it wasn't too busy. If you are relatively fit, you'll have no trouble with this walk. However, it can get a little steep on uneven ground in places. The views as you continue to climb of...More

Walked up for sunset from car park in Pollenca. Took about 30 mins at a reasonable pace and the views from the top are well worth it

I'd agree with all of the above. There are loads of excellent cycling routes in Mallorca, but this isn't one of them!

Sorry this is likely a bit late: yes probably but you will need to check internet for bus timetables, and taxis are not as cheap in Mallorca as you think. Not sure where cala bona is. If any help, it was around 100 Euros... More
