Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Torre del Verger is set in the middle of the western Serra Tramontana mountain range, just above the sea.
It is just by the road which is a very scenic drive I explained in details in my Serra Tramontana review.
The Verger tower dates back to 16c, and you can climb it for free. There're several parking spaces by the road.
Once up, there're stunning views of Majorca west coast, specially around sunset.

If you are looking for a truly astonishing sunset in Mallorca, this is the one. You can sit on the bench near the tower, but the best experience will be to climb the stair to the top of the tower. Climbing is easy, but you need to be in good shape and have good mobility. In December the sun goes down around 5:30pm to the right of the mountains in the coast line. Bring your own drink to share a glass in good company. Highly recommended!

lovely view from here but parking could be difficult as not a lot of it and right on the road edge. To get full view one has to climb a ladder through a medium sized hole, which I was not keen on doing. Still an interesting view though without going up the ladder.

There was a couple at the parking, evidently professional thieves - they got into the car in a moment (you will not manage to take photos of the tower), stole all the money from the handbag without letting any visual signs (only a footstep at the back seat). The car was locked and everything looked the same. So be aware of that when visiting this nice viewpoint...

If you are in the area, it is a nice spot to watch sun setting down. If you are lucky, colours will be really pleasant.

Worth a visit to check out the view and watch the sunset. We were driving and parked easily, which is rare in Mallorca. Nice, scenic spot and not crowded.

We went there in the evening via bus to see the sunset. Unfortunately, the last bus was at 8:00pm which forced us to return before the sunset. Nevertheless, it was worth going and spending a couple of hours.
Quite secluded and not touristic at all but it offers very nice and colorful views.
You must go to the top of tower using the ladder to get the best out of this place. I bet the sunset would be really mesmerising from there.
Line 200 goes from placa d'espanya, palma and a bus stop is just next to the torre. We had to change the bus from a stop in between.
But the return bus was from Banyalbufar, not from torre des verger. So we had to walk a bit from torre to Banyalbufar.

We went there to have sunset views and took the bus to banyalbufar from palma.I was highly disappointed with the overall bus service TIB in Mallorca but anyway this place was just awesome. It was so isolated, not crowded at all and you can just simply admire the view for hours. Its so amazing. Climb up the tower, take the stairs and just roam around.I was so happy I choose to visit this place.

No need to climb the iron ladder of this ancient tower to be able to see the wonderful and rugged Mallorca coast. Good parking in front makes for an ideal stop to your cycling or driving trip

A small and tiny tower dating back to 1579 which gives a look out along the coast. Small parking area. Steep ladder in to tower.
