Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A classic beach that is a must for sure. There is a Canteen just next to the beach for you to get some food or shadow. Very rocky, with places to swim, explore with the family. You need an umbrella for the sun if you plan to stay long. Also prefer to go very early in the morning before it gets too crowded.

It makes sense to come just to see how it is and enjoy driving on a beautiful route with turns. Not if your priority is swimming or a comfortable beach for sunbathing. Outside it has mainly large pebbles and stones and it is very small the surface that is tolerable to sit down, especially with the lot of people that has until late. Right from the intermediate rock ends a stream and after the rain of the previous day it was filled with dried leaves/plants and soil drawn. The water inside was yellow, blurred by the soil. Somewhat better it was left of the rock, but with much more people and shallower waters. For swimming you need to go deep, you have little space alongside the coast. The cavitation on the left end may have a shadow, but it is very dangerous to drop the rock on people. The isolated natural environment seems to inspire some young couples to feel like they are in their bedroom.

Really nice beach. Clear water with some caves you can walk into. You can jump from the rocks
Bring your own umbrellas. There is a small bar at the top which serves drinks, snacks and souvlakis for lunch. Really enjoyable. More people than the deep mani beaches but not packed.

We arrived at this small beach made of pebbles and Saxons in the early afternoon. Bring shoes to enter the water. The sea was a bit rough
Cloudy water due to dust from the stones and with a patch of foam carried by the current, a shame.
The view is suggestive and can be easily reached because there is a car park nearby, but in Greece there are so many beaches like this... you can go for a swim while passing by but I wouldn't travel so many kilometers for this one.

Pebbled beach that gave our family a perfect half-day. We were there relatively early, around 9.30. We did some swimming, supping, playing with pebbles,... going through the tunnel was a treat, but the major surprise was a bolted climbing route on the central rock of the beach. Having little ones play on the beach while making a quick ascend literally on the same spot, just great!
The route is short, maybe 7 meters, and in 5-something range.

Beautiful beach without any organized beach facilities that makes it much more desirable. Very popular, that’s why you should be there early at the morning. There is a bar for food and drinks. The view and the nature is breathtaking. Must go!

Beautiful beach and luckily no sunbeds. Beach shoes are essential because there are stones inside and outside. Generally, the worst happens before 2, so it's good to go at that time. In addition, 2 of the 3 times we went, the sea brought out a lot of dirt and it didn't go away at all. We left.

Amazing beach between the vilages Kardamyli and Stoupa. You need a 5 minute walk through a step to arrive there. Stones in the beach (not sand) and blue and green waters. Really amazing and sure worth visiting.

Foneas Beach
Off the beaten track.
Small cove, tucked away from the madding crowd.
Located between Kardamyli & Stoupa.
Beautiful turquoise, crystal clear water. Ideal for snorkelling.

This cove can be very busy in summer and also at weekends, but as we went on a weekday in early October it was lovely and quiet, there is parking in the olive grove at the back of the beach for several cars though it is a bit of a steep track down or there is more room on the road to park but it just makes it a bit more of a walk down. The beach itself is all pebbles as many are in this area but it is nice and clean the water is very clear and calm due to the shape of the bay, very nice to snorkel but not that much to see. There is a small taverna at the back of the beach that sells food and drinks at reasonable prices,we always take a picnic and its a lovely place for that.Definitely worth a visit but would avoid peak season and weekends.
