Scenic surroundings, marvelous church

The set up is fairy tale. Picture perfect. Cross country beauty makes the church look magical. We witnessed a service and the locals were warm and friendly. Must visit.

Whenever I see this church I feel as if I have arrived. It is typical "chocolate box" scenery and in the winter marks the start for the cross country area (for me anyway). Get the camera angle correct and you can avoid the Olympia complex. Usually a lot going on in the area.

A dear little old church set outside the town amidst lovely green pastures. Views from it were rather spoilt by vast Olympic swimming pool complex with outdoor shutes!

A plain church but great free concerts through summer with many American youth choirs and bands playing in the area, great enthusiasm from them

So pretty and sit at the front to admire the views and flowers. Looks very different in the snow and sun.

A lovely church that makes everyone welcome. It takes your breath away marvelling at its history. The church is well cared for and is a great credit to the people of Seefeld.

These two are completely seperate Churches in Seefeld. The Parish Church of Sr. Oswald is in the centre of the village, whilst the little Church on the lake (i.e. Seekirchl) is out on the road which leads to the next village of Mösern!. The Seekirchl used to sit on it's small mound in the middle of a lake which was... More

We attended mass at St Oswald's, the singing was out of this world, we felt totally comfortable amongst the local people and other holiday makers like ourselves. Quite a lot of the men and women, for whom this is their local church, turned up wearing the Austrian National Dress, which they wore with pride

We visited this little cathedral during our Wisconsin Ambassadors of Music tour in Seefeld and found it to be a charming and quaint. Not as breath-taking as many of the huge cathedrals throughout Europe, but it was a pleasant stop on our walking tour of Seefeld.
