We hired scooters and rode here. It was a huge walk up many stairs to get to the top but it was so worth it! The views are spectacular. I did not like that the monkeys were being fed rubbish though and many of them looked quite sick 😔

Climbing up early in the morning, or late in the evening is good. Afternoons will be hot. One has to climb 575 steps to reach the temple. As the name suggests, it is surrounded by monkeys. It has a great view once u reach the top.

Lord Hanuman temple built on a hill. Round the clock Ramayana paadh goes on. Reaching there you need to climb 575 steps. It is a safe climb. Mahaprasad consisting sumptuous lunch is served to all between 12 to 2pm. This forms part of Kishkandha area (Bali's kingdom) mentioned in Ramayana. Lord Hanuman was said to be born here.

If you love Hanuman then you must visit and if you go later in the day the sunset is spectacular! You can see priests in action and plenty of monkeys too!

The temple is just ordinary but what's stunning is the view from the hill at sunset. Make sure you go there during sunset and get a good spot. The sheer colours, the chanting in the temples below, everyone just staring into the vast expanse of land and fields and farms as the sun sets into the horizon- absolutely mind-blowing Be... More

This quaint Hanuman temple is perched on top of a hill on the Sanapur side of the river. It takes 575 steps to get to the summit. Lord Hanuman makes you work hard to get his darshan! My 10 year old daughter climbed to the top with ease so it's not impossible. Old folks need to take caution. At the... More

575 steps to be precise. That's how many you have gotta climb before reaching this small temple perched on a hill significant for it's sunset view. Tiring yes, wasted effort No. Its worth the effort and make sure you are here an hour before sunset.
