This place is really amazing, I would say a must visit for the people who are interested in the history . The carvings in the temple say alot about Indian history and mythology.

The landscape the temples are set is a marvel on earth in its own right. It's impressive to see the art of creating masterpieces hundreds of years ago. I advice to do some reading before you do and to not hire a guide. Have fun!

The autos are not allowed till the complex but private vehicles are which doesn't make any sense. So, if you have come by auto you will have to take battery operated open mini bus to the temple complex in 10 Rs per person return fare....More

This is a must-visit place in Hampi. Book a guide who can explain well the details. Take the buggy at the entrance (half fee for kids). Carry water & wear light clothing & shoes.

yes local guides are available on nominal charge, if you hire one guide for full day he will take accompany at all sights.
