I visited Tushita for one of the free daily drop-in meditation sessions. I was so impressed by the beautiful meditation room and the serenity of this place as a whole. This was a nice introduction to meditation and the session drew a lot of people. They also offer silent meditation retreats which I hope to return for in the future.... More

From the outside you'll see a monastery between the woods which makes it magical, in the inside wonderful passionate teachers and monks loving and caring staff and food and amazing retreats !

I miss it so badly it's like one small family we have. People who want to start meditation must do it one time

People respect the quiet and a saintly preacher gradually takes you from your current state of body and mind into meditation.

Lovely place for guided morning meditation, was a 30 minute session, went so quickly, beautiful setting. You can do a 10 day course called Tushita which teaches Buddist pholosophy and meditation.

The beautiful Tibetan temple is set amongst a gorgeous wooded forest. A very tranquil environment only 5 mins walk to Macleod Ganj and the hustle and bustle seems a world away! We went to the drop in meditation classes for a week lead by Tommy from Ireland and really enjoyed them. Cannot recommend enough.
