I’ve played cave golf at the Scratch Patch at V&A (which I thought was awesome) and thought the Simon’s Town one would be identical, but it was actually so much better and my 8-year-old son LOVED it! And of course the shops are amazing with...More

We visited 25 years ago and lived it then but now it is still amazing. Very cool for children of any age and we enjoyed it as well. It is very clean and a lovely place to be. We would highly recommend it.

This is such a lovely activity to do with young children. My 3 absolutely loved it. Searching for their favourite stones and getting to keep them. You can also see a working factory, a museum and craft shop. Definitely worth a visit

Went with the little one and grand parents. Nice way for a family to spend some time together. Very peaceful inside and there is a 18 hole putt-putt glow course with glow in the dark which was quite fun.

A fun place for all ages. We enjoyed the cave golf. If you have small kids they will love the scratch patch. Food didn't look appealing.

This is a combination of an exhibition and a shop, and they let you browse on your own without any pressures. There are cheap stones and jewellery and expensive ones as well, and if you like to create your own nicklages and armbands this is...More

Scratch Patch mineral world is a place close to Simon’s town where visitors can search through tumble polished gemstones that literally cover the floor of the place. One of the highlights of our trip for kids. Our kids just love buying these gemstones from coin...More

Hi Carol I don't mind assisting, i know the scratch patch doesn't do it themselves, however I would be glad to help as we do not stay too far from there.
