Nice and modern train/bus station in the center of Asahikawa. All the signs are in Japanese and English. Helpful staff! No shops in this building but next door is a big mall where you can wait if necessary and have a cup of (Starbucks) coffee.

The purpose of my visit was to look for lunch. Found out that there's a big food court that is linked to the station. After the food court is the AEON Mall, a huge one!
