Wroxham Barns is one of Norfolk's leading tourist attractions. With its accent firmly on quality and with strong green credentials, it manages that really rather rare thing - of appealing to different ages. Grown-ups enjoy pottering around the shops and workshops, often chatting to the artists themselves or stopping to watch a craftsman create something unique. With a wood turner, stained glass specialist and Chris Hutchins from Norfolk Sketches, you will find the gift that is just that bit special. Fashion lovers should seek out the Gallery where labels such as Seasalt, Ness and Steilmann are on offer along sidehand bags, scarves, hats and more. And Sugar and Spice offers quirky children's pieces which are much more fun than items offered in the High Street. Foodie lovers are especially well catered for as the Pantry is packed with delicious food, much sourced locally so you can stock up your own store cupboards with jams, chutneys, oils, wines and more.

I rarely write reviews on here but felt that the passion, knowledge general loveliness of Mike at the Scrummy Pig produce shop deserves to be shouted about. From the moment we walked in it was like an Aladin's cave of the regions best produce. Apparently 97% of the products were made here in Norfolk with the other 3% being from... More

What a lovely review for Scrummy Pig. Mike and Sam Fish took over our food shop last October and have transformed it, they deserve all the plaudits for the fresh produce, nearly 100% Norfolk/Suffolk products and HUGE range of local beers. Thank you Lisampullen for taking the time to share. More

Went to Wroxham Barns yesterday for a few hours. We didn't visit the fairground or farm areas, just the shops and the coffee shop. The shops had a wide selection of goods, although most of the things were the same as when I last visited there back in 2008. However the items for sale would make great presents. The staff... More

Thanks for your review, we think you visited us during a very busy whitsun half-term. Please accept our apologies for the rather stretched service, thank you for acknowledging the quality of our coffee shop food. We will never be cheap but we do think you get what you pay for. We hope you enjoyed your holiday, please do come back... More

We love Wroxham Barns - living in Norfolk we’ve been visiting for years and watched it grow. The little ones love to see the animals on the farm and specially when they can join in and bottle feed the little lambs or calves which they really enjoy. We always head for the train and rides at the Fair once we’ve... More

My children enjoyed this but the literature isn't clear that dogs aren't allowed in more places than not. Farm beautifully kept and really good husbandry. The young girl leading the chick and guinea pig handling (long hair/fringe/glasses - sorry I don't recall your name) - was absolutely brilliant, a real asset to your team!

Thank you Foxgods for taking the time to submit your review. We have tried to strike the right (and accurate) balance with our policy on dogs. We welcome dogs (I am a huge westie fan) but we have to be realistic about the practicalities. In summary this is principally a day out for humans, but we accommodate dogs…and do all... More

Went here on my Hen do after realising a night in Norwich followed by a boat tour was a terrible idea! Had great fun feeding the farm animals and holding them. There are several shops so after ice cream and panini's we had a look around. There is also a craft shop which was great fun and kept us well... More

Firstly. I've got to admit, this overpriced mess of small businesses waiting to take your money is not my idea of a fun day out but, on a gloomy day in gloomy Wroxham, you may be tempted by the glossy leaflets to head here as it promises to be "Great for Kids, Great for Grown-Ups" (sic). Before writing this review,... More

Not quite as much to see and do for a family. Quite interesting in parts. Some clever workshops, i.e the leaded glass window etc maker and woodworking.

Lots to do here but why is it so expensive. The most expensive aspect is that children's entry fees are nearly the same as adults. There are lots of extras as many of the facilities you pay for individually. How can the putting golf be £4.20 for an adult and £3.80 for a four year old, that really is ridiculous.... More

Thank you David24052709 for your review. Lots to do here….we agree. But the main thrust of your review is about the cost. I guess the only way to establish if something is expensive is to compare it with something similar. Now we have to accept that all attractions are different so exact comparisons are difficult but do give you an... More

If you have small children, a day out at Wroxham Barns is ideal. The entry fee is reasonable and is valid all day. You can leave the farm area, with all the usual small animals, and enjoy the funfair, then return to the farm, for feeding time, later in the day. Free play areas are situated in the farm compound... Thanks Jo for your review. You are right, Wroxham Barns is a lovely place to drop into for an hour or so, bit of shopping, grab a bite to eat, whatever you want to do. BUT as many reviewers will confirm, you can stay much longer, all day if you wish. We do hope you will chose to visit us.... More
