I chose to ride a mule up the stairs. I would have never made it up. Don’t go if you are not a athlete or have not ridden equine before. Beautiful view once on top.

All coming inside the perta tour take a relax day one day and do a comfortable walkdown inside the wold heritage site and enjoy the hole day.You will get the day worth in your life.

The view is amazing but put really good shoes to go there. The hike is a bit hard but worthed. take care with the fake guides over

Also do the route down by the soldier's tomb. The high place offers fantastic views and the locals are very helpful to show you other routes to get up there if you're not as confident a climber.

It s a beautiful climbing from the back side to the top. The view at the top is nice but the best for me was the trecking path up.

The High Place of Sacrifice is in Petra. If you have not done that then do the whole hike starting at the Basin Restaurant then descending into the amphitheater near the Treasury. There is hardly anyone on the route and... More
