Unless you do this item first, before a day in Petra, it will be very disappointing. For the 30 minutes to walk to the venue you need a torch as the "candlelight" is insufficient to properly light the way. at 17 dinar for effectivley less...More

Take a flash light as there are uneven stones to walk on, it does take 2 hours, and the return from the Treasury is only walking upwards...

An absolutely magical experience. If recommend going 15 minutes later to it opening, so that all the noise and flash photography doesn't ruin the walk. I'd also recommend not talking of taking flash photos so that it doesn't ruin the ambience. A truly magical experience.

a terrific experience with a sound and light show! Attendees are served Arabic coffee before the performance starts. Mesmerizing experience under the stars and moon with a commanding view of the Petra Ruins.

We bought our tickets without knowing what was comming and what to expect. Fortunately, when we got to there, we were surprised by this magnificent sculpted Treasury monument, iluminated only by candles. Unfortunately, there were some things that diminished what could have been an amazing...More

I had great expectation for this visit but actually I found it not interesting at all, or, I should better say, not worth the price I paid for. First of all the treasure is more beautiful with the day light, second of all, the experience...More

I apologize for the late response but you will certainly have to exit and pay to return. They are two separate events that both require payment to enter.

Yes, you can purchase just before, BUT what a tacky show. You will see nothing of Petra either on the walk in (in the dark over uneven, rough and sandy surfaces - 1.5 km). The Treasury will be lit only with candles placed... More
