a must watch ... for people who like the architectural marvels! we were pleasantly surprised by the architecture and amazing carvings with Doric columned facade built funerary symbols by the Nabataeans.

The Obilisk is an Egyption influence added to the Nabataean archeticture because of trade. Nabatean traders travelled all overvthe ancient world. Therefore, they get influenced by various archetictural features from everywhere. The Obilisk itself represents the sperit ascending to heavens.

there are horses running around this place all the time, and the road is sand, you better use a mask, otherwise you eat sand.

One of the most important historic places in the long trek of Petra, this place has a lot of significance other than the famous treasury and the monastery. A little bit of climbing is required to reach here which makes people reluctant to go inside...More

While hiking to Petra attractions this place one of the first point. Guide gave explanation. This was functioned as a dining room where feasts took place in honour of the dead. These structures are old and belong to the 1st century AD (25-75AD).

First Nabatean Archeological Ruins you saw in the road, The Siq, to the Treasure, Al Khazneh. Very friendly staff at the Visitor Center. The best time hours for a visit are early morning.

This is another highlight in Petra. It is right at the start of the trail so you can’t really miss it. Absolutely worth seeing.

This is a MUST SEE if you ever get to Jordan! It will take your breath away when you see the ruins that are thousands of years old!
