It was impressive being at the top of the mountain, as you can imagine the views were stunning, we went in the summer and it was so gorgeous.

Slightly snowy but still accessible! Took some great pictures. Well worth a visit! We headed to the second lake past Okoto which took around 2.5 hours round trip.

Going on the top of Pirin offers unique views of the mountain and the valley. The path there is good, however, requires some good condition.

Very nice hike with beautiful scenery. If going by car you should get there before 9:00 to park near otherwise you'll be forced to park outside the national Park and find your way inside somehow.

Another thought, the 'waterfall walk' follows the river uphill from Bansko. We walked a couple of sections over a couple of days. The well walked path is mostly through woodland, veering back and forth between the river and... More

Yes in one way as there seemed to be a few others on the mountain. However, it really depends on your walking experience and personal skills and confidence. If you would be happy to climb given changeable weather then give... More
