TLDR: Good ideas compromised by incompetent management create a ridiculous waste of potential and dangerous environment.

Note: Our family lived in Ubud for the year leading up to the pandemic until very recently; much of our experience comes from over the past years watching this place go totally downhill very quickly.

On Wellness: the main areas of the facility, restaurant and pool lounge are closely surrounded by open air smoking areas which are regularly polluted with toxic cigarette smoke.
Apparently they have no problems with giving paying customers lung cancer and marketing the club as a family wellness facility; pure marketing lies. It’s disgusting and tone deaf in the health and wellness center of Bali. Moreover, using "wellness, sustainability, health, etc" in association with this place is simply abject dishonesty. If the noxious cigarette smoke doesn't get you, all the unethical, unsustainable meat on the menu surely will.

On Ambiance: don't get us started on the awful garbage fires the neighbors light, (likely out of protest from the incessant noise here) which fill the property with even more toxic chemical smoke; it's quite literally a dumpster fire when it happens.

On Management: out of compassion we must admit it's a new business and obviously they're still struggling with quality control but this is what happens when they make a DJ the General Manager, who is obviously more interested in the women here than actually doing his job.

On the Issues: bad service is systemic, restaurant quality is totally hit and miss, gym maintenance is a joke, various amenities have been broken for half a year, no lifeguard nor adequate supervision results in near drownings, piles of dirty towels and glasses collect germs in the gym, bathroom floors grow communicable foot fungus, lack of leadership doesn't encourage staff to maintain any standards, dirty food plates left in fitness studio for class students to clean up, all while management does nothing to improve, no qualified gym supervisor has led to assorted issues with rude customers, harassment from Oli, and health concerns to name a few.

Currently; this is one of the best places in Ubud to get coronavirus. The combination of terrible management, indoor fitness group classes taught by an anti-science head instructor who refuses to wear a mask and who ignorantly refuses to protect students, and the horribly entitled foreigners who pretend there's no pandemic while polluting the gym, restaurant and everywhere else with their potentially lethal viral load, you're pretty much guaranteed to be infected here despite the symbolic health regulations they point to; which they don't actually enforce when no one is looking. Don't take our word for it; if you're inclined to risk your life, go there and count the people inside not wearing masks.

With countless inspirational options for professionally managed health food, quality entertainment and authentic wellness in Ubud, you would be wise to go find them. In good conscience we won't recommend this place until they get their sh@t together.

We are taking our business and prolific high-quality recommendations elsewhere.

Titi Batu is A place where you can really spend all day and have everything you need. I have been going there almost everyday for more than a year now. In the morning I highly recommend Bambu’s Dance it out class. We dance to 80-90’s hits, we dress up and we go crazy and nobody gives an F except for having fun. After you can go to chill out in the amazing pool, wow, the best one in Ubud. There is a Sauna and a steam room and the gym is quite well equipped. When it comes to food, is a bit pricey but super healthy, yummy and high quality. But here’s the thing, the best thing about Titi Batu is the atmosphere. You know when you get to Ubud and you wanna meet people and you don’t know where to go? Well, go to Titi Batu. There, while at the gym or in class you will meet “great vibe people” and just take it from there... leave Mama Bali to take care of you. Also, the place is run with Love by people that appreciate the concept of community and that want to give such community a place to meet, share and excersice with the highest quality teachers in Ubud. DO NOT MISS BAMBU’s classes. If you go, you will know what I mean and will be happy you did😜 #Ishtar#

WARNING: The diving platform does not have any signs for pool depth, and 2 adults in my party hit the cement floor and scraped their face and hand jumping off with our kids, even though we were gentle. This high platform smashes you to the cement bottom. The staff was indifferent. We had to warn other guests that were about to dive and risk possible injury to their neck as I suffered. The vibe is stale, sketchy, uncaring, shallow (like the “diving” pool), and just about the money hustle. There are weird ,non-smiling security men lurking all around, even in the grassy areas where bikini babes and boys were on phones and computers all day, oh, but no “life-guard” on duty. Awful music playing and the steam room was “out of order.” Skip this place unless you want to feel like you are at a low end “country club” in a White privilege country.

Really like that place, doing my workout here every morning. Nice, large pool, super friendly staff (even if they are sometimes a bit slow and not really giving enough attention to customers) and a great gym.

Food is healthy and tasty, prepared with love, large choice even for vegetarians but a bit overpriced.

Monthly membership is definitely worth it!!

Thank you

We are staying at the Sankara and had been for a meal at Sacred Rice, we could hear some great music and went hunting for the source and found this place. What a find. Great space, modern and friendly with well priced drinks and awesome entertainment. They had a great band playing as well as fire eaters and fire jugglers, it actually felt a little surreal. Definitely will return for lunch or another drink, worth going in the evening to just see the pretty lights and relax around the pool.

Place is beautiful, set up perfect. Like a club with no accomodation. Partner and I went to get dinner & drinks - We are staying near by Uma d Villas - (Airbnb) the dinner was amazing. I had karagge chicken and herself the vegan nachos.. + 2 Bintang’s and the total was $266,000 ($30 AUS) it was night so all tables were lit by candle light. After we got a cocktail each which were equally as good.. ($25 AUS) I’m happy with this place as we really were struggling with getting around ubud but lucky we love our villa enough to stick around here. It truely reminded us the beauty of being here. Booked in for massage tomorrow which their prices DONT have hidden tax which was a nice surprise! Added bonus!! the 2 young gentlemen for taxis out the front took us to cocomart to get beer and back to the Airbnb’s (round the corner) thank you so much for this experience.

Gym facilities are above average. As is the case with most facilities in Ubud they should seriously hire a director of F&B to direct staff in their service or lack of.
You really need to chase them down for service.

We spent an afternoon at Titi Batu during our trip to Ubud with two young children (1.5 & 4yrs).
Super family friendly with an awesome vibe, amazing food and welcoming staff. There’s plenty of areas for family’s to enjoy (pools, jumping platforms, playground, playroom, sports courts.. even a gym).

Spent a lot of time there over the last two month, usually spending 500,000-700,000 daily for food and beverage 4-5 times/week. Staff messes up all the time - don’t mind, we are all learning here. Prices above average - no problem, don’t mind overpaying for convenience. When asked yesterday for water to consume my own protein powder (don’t like theirs) bluntly refused. Well that’s the end of my business guys, that’s a dumb policy.
