If your children like to dig in the dirt, they will love it here. It is basically a huge dirt field, and you can just plop down and dig wherever you want. I would recommend going in warmer months - the water that you run your sifter through to wash away the debris gets very cold - too cold to... More

They have knowledgeable friendly staff that are happy you came to visit. A good shop to by gifts and snacks. You can rent everything you need for digging or bring in your own supplies. Wear old clothes, including hiking boots or rain boots, because you will get dirty. Eat before you get here and bring a sandwich. We are coming... More

Thiery state of Arkansas is to be commended for this awesome state park. I cannot think of anything negative to say. My son and I enjoyed digging and panning stones in the water looking for diamonds. Some advice. Probably not great fun in the winter for under age five because parents will want to dig and children after an hour... More

We had a great time camping in the RV park and digging for diamonds. They have knowledgeable friendly staff that are happy you came to visit. A good shop to by gifts and snacks. You can rent everything you need for digging or bring in your own supplies. RV park was very clean and had full hook ups. We would... More

Thought this would be something different to do as a family, and it was fun. For only $10/adult, it was reasonably priced, too. You can rent all the tools there, but I'd suggest bringing your own to save money. The ticket is good for all day, and you can come and go. Also, if you buy a ticket after 4pm,... More

We Van-Camped in the park for 2 nights and I must say their shower houses are A+ and their campsites are top of the line!!! For only $30.00 for 2 nights with power we enjoyed playing in the dirt just like we were little kids again. This campground was paved throughout, enough room for the motorhome buses that were back-in... More
