We stopped here after visiting Blanchard Springs Caverns. We enjoyed exploring the trail down to the mill to get a different view of the waterfall and climb the rocks. My grown kids and teenage son enjoyed it immensely!

You will view Mill from the sidewalk 50 feet above, as it tucked away in the bottom of the creek bed. Disappointing, as all that is left standing are two walls.

We traveled a number of miles down this Arkansas dirt road but when we arrived at Falling Water Falls, there were about 6 other cars. The falls can be seem from the road. We were able to swim and jump into the falls.

Recommend the short hike to view the mill and surrounding creek. Beautiful, not strenuous and well worth the effort. If you wish to forgo the hike, there is parking on the road near the mill where you can view and snap photos.

We made our way down to the recreation area after touring the caverns. The old mill is on an easily-accessible trail with beautiful scenery. The ruins are really neat and have the view of the dam/waterfall in the background. The water from the creek was...More

What a beautiful place. Even though it was a hot day, the canopy of trees kept us cooler. The mill itself is an interesting old building, with only a few walls still standing. There is an information board on the wooden walkway that overlooks the...More

Awesome place to see the Old Mill and walk and see the sites along the springs from the caverns! Take a moment and get out and see some awesome places.

My husband has difficulty walking as he has stenosis of the spine and he had no trouble with this walk. We found the walk very relaxing and were able to stop and rest as needed. If I remember correctly there were benches... More
