This is an interesting local museum and we’ll worth visiting if you are in the area. After the museum we stopped and watched the fishermen preparing their boats and catch

This is a small and charming historical museum that presents displays of the earliest human settlements of Chiloé through the Spanish era to modern times. Most of the written texts are in Spanish. There are several artifacts and photos.

I really enjoyed this little museum located right off the main plaza in central Castro. If you like dioramas you will enjoy the ones here - very detailed and well done. Details of the founding of the city and a small room featuring a bit...More

This museum helps to understand how resourceful local people were and still are today. Entry fee is voluntary.

The Museum is located in the downtown area of Castro, and has a number of regional artifacts that you can see unclose and personal. Upside, all artifacts have a great description. Downside. Its only in Spanish We took our children (6 & 9 years old)...More

Located in downtown Castro, this museum houses regional artefacts and agricultural tools. Information on the displays in Spanish. Hours: M-F 9:30am-6:30pm, Sat 9:30am-1pm. Admission: Free.
