    Great experience!
We had a wonderful experience! We bought the full package, and were the only people in the park for most of the morning. The highlight was of course meeting Kiki the orangutan, as well as interacting with the elephants. But we ended up feeding many more animals (over the fence) too with our guide. The enclosures aren’t what you would see in more typical western zoos, but the animals still seemed well looked after.

    Uniquely interactive wildlife experience
I booked this on the spur of the moment for my partner and I and we could honestly not have asked for a more professional, relaxed and personalised experience. The park was not particularly busy and yet the staff worked to a high standard to ensure we had a good time. From the many birds some of which we were encouraged to have perched on our arms and shoulders to the elephant washing and wonderful play time with Kiki the 6 year old orangutan, the entire outing was full of incredible sights and interactions. Special mention to Adi (Das) who was an informative, respectful and helpful guide who as well as talking us through the whole vey interesting journey , helped us take some excellent pictures and even carried my rucksack at one stage !! All the animals seemed well treated and well looked after and cared for. The lunch area was very well laid out with top notch service a good menu and great food. Hugely recommended!

You should visit if you are around, it is worth it
Many animals you can see and touch, even play with. They seem fine and loved. Recomend to buy a fruit basket, so you can feed the animals. Tried the orangutan play hour, it was fun!

    Amazing trip!!!
Everyone who visits Lombok must go here, we had the most amazing visit with our guide Adi (Adidas) he was absolutely brilliant and kept us laughing all the way round. The icing on the cake and was on my bucket list was to have a personal interaction with kika the orangutan 🦧 she was so strong and playful. The staff here all do such an amazing job, if your an animal lover this is definitely the place for you. We paid approximately £50 per couple for the orangutan experience and high tea...just fantastic

    Incredible experience
We had a great time at Lombok Wildlife Park and would 10/10 recommend. We didn’t expect to have our own guided tour, but we had a very friendly and knowledgeable guide (so sorry we can’t recall his name) take us around the park and tell us all about the animals. It was incredibly interactive, getting to feed most animals with fruit, and hold some of the parrots and touch the hippos and elephants. You can tell they care for the animals here and want to do them well. Some enclosures maybe seemed a little small, but parts of the park looked under renovation so maybe they were expanding.

    Pleasant time killer in Lombok
Nice, shady grounds housing a small collection of birds, elephants, orangutans, pigmy hippos amongst others. Some of the enclosures are very small and bare which is a little sad. Interaction and feeding of the animals is actually encouraged…it can feel a little invasive to interact with the young orangutan but it is hard to resist. The restaurant is unexpectedly good and with limited other options around, is better than what is on offer in most zoos. Staff are friendly. A nice way to pass a couple of hours of waiting for the boat to Bali or the Gili Islands.

Nice day out with the kids
Had a great time in the park thanks to our guide Mira. The kids loved it that they could feed the animals, wash Mona the elephant and sit and hug Kiki the chimpanzee. We will definitely come back.

A good day out with some ethical considerations
Really struggled with whether to book this or now as Indonesia animal welfare standard are not nearly as important as UK. First off the wildlife park informed us that they are a rescue centre for zoos, pet owners, etc many of the animals have come from very poor experiences and the park really does care for them well. Our guide, Ikhsan was brilliant. He clearly knew the animals and their personalities. Yes some of the enclosures are small, but I don’t think anyone would say that the park wasn’t trying to help and support the animals. We paid for the Orangutan experience, which my daughter and husband enjoyed, but I wasn’t into. I think the Orangutans needed the stimulation and seemed to enjoy dragging my husband about, it was a bit too much for my daughter. The elephant experience was also nice and they don’t allow too many people to book on and they took the elephants away in the middle of the day for a break. I’m still in two minds regarding the welfare of some of the animals, but it was a great day out. I think the park are doing what they can, in the area they are, with the money they have. They recused a number of animals to prevent them being destroyed or killed (crocodile, large Bull Elephant) and I think it’s trying to improve the animals welfare.

    Great day out on Lombok
We had a wonderful day at the wildlife park. We paid for the elephant bathing and orangutan meet and greet. It was amazing. The staff were all super lovely and helpful, guiding us around the different enclosures and letting us pet some animals. A lot of the animals were rescued and are well looked after. It was an incredible experience. We ended with the high tea option and the selection of food was delicious. A super day!!

Fabulous Wildlife Experience - please support by visiting
We were impressed by the park's commitment to animal welfare and conservation , along with how they cared, for injured animals and those rescued from the illegal pet trade. They are trying to raise awareness locally and provide employment. They are keen to improve the facilities for the animals so you will be certain that your entrance money is going to a good cause. All the various entrance fees are reasonable and our entrance package included a delicious lunch in a lovely cafe. The park has a variety of exotic birdlife to see and even feed, pigmy hippos, binturong (bearcat) along with many other rescued animals. Our friendly guide Ikhsan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were there for at least 3 hours and our admission included bird feeding, handling snakes, giving the elephants a bath, which was such fun for us and also for the elephants. The highlight of the visit was an amazing interaction with Kiki ,a very playful 6 year old female orangutan, who was born in captivity. This mind-blowing experience was utterly amazing and well supervised by staff. We never felt that Kiki was being exploited, she seemed to enjoy the interaction as much as we all did and she even groomed my wife's hair!

Paid $60 each for the day which included visiting the Orangutang and Bathing Elephants. Absolutely disgraced with the safety of this place. The day left my son traumatised after he was attacked by the orangutang. The zoo did not even acknowledge or apologise. It was completely ignored. They did not even attend to my son to see if he was hurt or not.

I tried a few times after this happened to discuss this incident with the management whereby they have ignored my attempts.

Please do not take your family here and tell your friends the same. I don’t want anyone leaving this place feeling traumatised and unsafe.

Dear Mr Chairman, Thank you for sharing your experience, we appreciate it. But we will be much more appreciate if you can share your experience to the management during your visit so we can make this clear. Your son are NOT being attack by the Baby Orangutan. The baby pull your son hair and release it in seconds while the Baby Orangutan still in the keeper hand. Our keeper didn't make an emergency report..because there are NO Emergency situation ! And after the brave boy stop crying , he continue to play with the baby orangutan. So our staff think everything is alright. We need time to check to our keeper staff and from our CCTV record first before we can reply to you complaint email. You are not being ignore. Once again, if you submit your complain to the management in that time. We will be happy to make apologize, return your money or do as request to make your son feel better.

Dropped in to this zoo on a whim after visiting the water falls. I was a bit nervous as zoos in this region have a poor track record for animal treatment.

It’s pretty impressive in terms of animal interactions - you can get up very close to most of them, particularly the elephants. A fruit basket to feed the animals will set you back 50k (worth it, save some for the animals later in the zoo trip). There’s minimal caged animals but still not much space for most them to roam around, which is a bit sad and I hope this gets better. The birds are also clipped so they cannot fly away.

Despite this, the animals are clearly very loved by the doting staff who know all of their names and personality quirks. We were also lucky to see their 3 month old baby pigmy hippo which was beyond adorable.

Visited Lombok wildlife park with the family and they delivered a worth while experience.
Extremely friendly and informative staff along with the giude that took us on a tour around the park.
This wildlife park is good value for money along with a close and upfront experience with the animals that no other zoo i have been to has offered.
Well done.

We visited and I'm not sure if it was quiet and this is normal but we received 1-1 time throughout the whole park. We purchased a basket package with elephant washing

The elephants were well cared for and not under any sort of sedation so it was great getting up and close.

Overall the whole park was not very large and did not have many animals but the Elephant and Orangutan experiences made it worth it.

Today I visited the wildlife park, Lombok’s Zoo. It was incredible. We paid for the lunch with the animals option, 750,000 rupiah. As we entered we were handed baskets of fruit and continued to feed two elephants and then gave one a scrub and a bath. What an experience! To feel the toughness of their skin, the coarseness of their hair and smoothness of their tongue. So powerful, yet so gentle. She even provided some entertainment as some bursts of bubbles came from behind 😁. At the conclusion of the bath, we got some photos and she took the hose and washed herself. She then handed the hose to us and we filled her trunk up to spray herself. Apparently, she was able to fit 5 litres within her trunk.

We fed a bunch of birds, sun bears, pygmy hippos, proboscis monkeys, gibbons, porcupines, turtles and tortoises, deers, Komodo dragons and even played with an orangutan. Kiki was a 43kg, six year old who liked to play and responded to the way we behaved. If we were chill, she was chill. If we played, she played. Kiki was very playful and climbed onto my lap for a cuddle. We then continued to see a number of snakes: albino pythons, as well as a 5m reticulated python, which was thankfully in an enclosure.

We then finished the park off with a delicious 3 course meal. It was here that I saw something that Australia should perhaps copy, toilet paper at the urinals. It’s certainly help with the drips 😂

This animal park was such a wonderful experience. The fact that we were able to interact with the animals was very special as it’s something that just would never happen back home.

A special shout-out to Ahmed, who was amazing!! He essentially our personal guide and photographer, taking photos while we enjoyed the park.

Just be mindful that you have to pay for parking…

Unforgettable place where you can interact with different animals, from birds to elephants.
I recommend getting the ticket with refreshments and elephant bathing and games with the orangutan, two unforgettable experiences. Together they also give a basket of fruit and vegetables to give to the various animals. You are accompanied throughout the visit in order to have all the necessary explanations. Our guide, ADI, was very kind and explained everything to us very well. It's a zoo, but the animals are well cared for and cared for, and several repopulation and breeding programs are underway. The facility is well maintained and clean. Recommended if you are in Lombok and don't want to just stay on the beach. The visit lasts about 3 hours and it is possible to ask the park management to pick you up at the hotel and take you back (the information is all on the website). Advised

Get up close and personal with the amazing animals that are so very well cared for by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. This experience was one I'll always remember, and I highly recommend planing one of your days taking a ride up here if you're staying on Lombok. Please by the fruit baskets (at least 2,) as it makes the experience much more personal and also helps out the care of the animals.
