We visited the church grounds on Ash Wednesday. The flowers arrangements were beautiful! I loved the sunflowers!

One of the three huge capillas abiertas in the area, this 16th century gem seems big enough to host the entire town. Besides the massive open space in front of the church, there's a pretty walled garden to provide shade from the midday sun.

This amazing structure and convent is well-preserved, and has a rare outdoor chapel for outdoor services. Very unique.

This church is not the only reason to c9me to Teposcolula, which is a Pueblo Magico, but it is an extraordinary example of architecture from this era. Once you explore the church, walk around this nice town. There are good places to eat and be very nice hotel.

It is actually the main church in Teposcolula. The main altar is Mexican Barroco style. Worth to visit after visiting Yahuitlan. Do not plan to have lunch in Teposcolula, there is a better restaurant in front of Yahuitlan convent
