The hike down to the falls is the highlight- you won't be disappointed if you go. The museum is excellent, and you can spend a fair amount of time if you read and listen to the recordings.

Modern building set in the woods. Small gift shop and friendly staff. We enjoyed the museum and could have stayed longer to take it all in. The 30 minute hike to the rapids is a great for stretching your legs and for a lunch stop.

This was our whole reason for making a 3 hour drive. Drive in, park, visit the Center(if it's open), 2 minute walk to the bridge. Enjoy

We make a 1/2 day trip (family of 5) to the French River Visitor's Center so we could take the hike up to Recollet Falls. While the hike itself was fun, it was fairly technical but thankfully it was short (30 min in and 30...More

We have been here before, but it was a rainy day and decided to check it out. The building in a very cool design and the displays are quite interesting. Definitely worth getting off the highway to check it out.

This place offers camping but only if you plan to portage to your campsite. There is a nice hiking trail and places to picnic but the highlight is the huge bridge over the river which is actually the worlds longest snowmobile bridge. Great pics!

Really enjoyed the visitors centre. The history of the early travellers to Huronia was excellent. The hike to Recollet Falls and the snowmobile bridge were well worth seeing!
