Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sale San Giovanni i visited in June 2023, but could not click the right date offered on Tripadvisor. Having been here a year before in October of course autumn had arrived and with it fields had turned brown. So returning in June was amazing; what transformation!
It was hot at my second visit, so protection like a hat and water is very helpful.
Sale San Giovanni is a beautiful small town, next to it lays Sale Delle Langhe. Together they offer hiking and biking paths.
I could not find many pictures of activities on google images of public events, so i share so i made back then. The highlights atr not just the churches, also ancient and simple in stil, the lavender fields and herbs, the castle, but also the town market with local products, great food (do not miss out on lavender ice cream), and music. There's more activities in the area, like art Camoroni, and more. If you stay in the area Ceva was a cute town where you can watch otters in the river there. On Wednesday and Saturday morning the market in Ceva is full of fresh food and much more.
In overall, lavender fields are tranquil, they change our moods, and are great for photos :)

A wonderful surprise in a surprising location.
The lavender fields are wonderful to see during the right weeks. Check the website for the dates.
There is a little curvy road that will take you around.
The castle and herbs garden remarkable as well.

A really nice village, very kind information staff.
Beautiful fragrant and pleasant walk among lavender, helichrysum and sage in a truly spectacular setting of hills and valleys. Consigliato!

Route of about 500 meters on an asphalted road and occasionally a little lavender, poorly maintained and on dirty lawns.
The only positive note that is free.

If you go to see the lavender bloom, know that you won't see any, except for a small field in front of the info point, dried up and mangy.
I won't go into the economic choices of the farmers, in its place you will find fields of broad beans.
On Sunday we took the blue route, which was explained to us in great detail when we purchased the map but we found nothing at all of all this, perhaps with the map they should also rent a magnifying glass (Sherlock Holmes style) to be able to search for it. What remains is the walk in the greenery and the beauty of the panorama, but if you go for the lavender, know that it is... fugitive.

My husband and I returned for the second time to this quaint village for the flowering of lavender. Nothing to say about the event: Parking, hospitality ..... TOO BAD WE COULDN'T GET INTO THE CHURCHES BECAUSE WE HAD OUR PELOSETTA WITH US.... A WRINK OF 1.8 KG and HOLDING IN THE CARRIER ...... what about????? WE WILL NOT RETURN '... DO NOT GO WITH PELOSI IF YOU WANT TO VISIT THE CHURCHES BEYOND THE LAVENDER......

I imagined to find lavender as far as the eye can see in the immense and suggestive valleys, instead the territory is covered by 85% forest, 10% lawn and sometimes there are these handkerchiefs cultivated, and also poorly maintained, you see that with the two euros we pay there is not even gasoline for the brushcutter

Ciao a tutti! La lavanda c'è ancora?
Noi vorremmo andare Giovedì 09.
Che percorso consigliate? E per fermarsi a pranzo?
Grazie
