Always read reviews by reviewers with only a couple of reviews under their belt with a large pinch of salt. This is primarily a golf course. Formerly members only now open to the public for a fee. Nice enough course although correctly overwatered in spots and thus muddy in places. Established trees so pleasant setting. Golf course is laid out around a small man made lake with houses, as it lies in a gated community. Restaurant quality varies with concessionaire and is now pretty ordinary which is a pity as the setting is lovely. Occasional other classes such as the aforementioned yoga. Swimming pool overlooking the lake. Most golfers are members. Weekend the links are fairly busy. Weekdays less so. Closed Tuesdays. About $2,500 pesos weekdays for 2 people and a cart. Candies available. About 20 min from San Juan Del Río it 45 min from Queretaro.

I did the SUP Yoga class with my girlfriend and a few more people joined. I found it amazing, specially because the equipment was excellent quality and the instructor was great. It is a really good workout for the legs, arms and abs, but aditionally it is a very relaxing activity. Being my first time doing stand up paddle, I was surprised that it wasn't difficult at all, but it did demand a lot of attention to balance. This activity can help me a lot for improving in mountain biking. San Gil is such a great place for SUP yoga because of its very good weather almost year round, the water is very clean, not too cold, and very still. However it can be a bit windy in the afternoons. Aditionally, the reastaurant right outside the lake is really good with really good prices.

Me and my bf took a personal sup fitness class on the lake with Miss Fabi and it was sooo much fun! We had both done yoga before but never on a paddle and the teacher was very patient and gave us over an hour long class in which we improved our skills drastically. She even took a few pics of us! Would recommend to anyone wanting an active but fun day with delicious Mexican food at the casa club.

Played 18 holes of golf one day and the next day, took the Sup Fitness Class and then ate at the restaurant. Drove around and visited the city of Bernal and Tequisquiapan. Beautiful visit.
