Just for the view and picture. Nothing much to do here. Just stop, take a snap and go. There's 2 monument around the area if you like more picture. Else, you can head straight to the aquarium

Although its name (in English) mentions a "Lake" [ and, its viewed as "the Largest in Thailand"] it actually a "lagoon"!! There is a substantial channel/opening (almost 400 meters) to the Gulf of Thailand located near Songkla. The water has about 50% of the salinity...More

The dragon’s head is at the lakeside park, but can you find it’s torso and tail located in other parts of the city?

Here one sees the equivalent of Songkhla's spouting icon similar to Singapore's spouting Merlion. The Thai Dragon or Nag is quite different from the Chinese or European dragon as it has a huge horn. Great place to snap some photos for remembrance

Interesting but to see it at it's best you need transport. There are lots of fish farms and you can just find one of the many places to sit or a restaurant on the edge of the lake to chill out. You can nearly travel...More

Unexpected pretty place to watch waterfowl and water buffaloes. Go early morning for best spotting. The water lily lake part is stunning.
